At one of our last visits to Spokane, Katelyn watched "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" at my mom's house. At first, she was a little scared, but once she got over that, she started asking to watch it over and over....and over again. Lo and behold we had a copy lurking about in our movie stash as well. Currently, it is her favorite movie and she watches it all the time. I remember seeing it when it first came out and at the time, it didn't leave a lasting impression on me. However, now that I have watched it a million times, it has really grown on me. I might even dare say that it is following closely behind the Lord of the Rings. I enjoy it so much that I decided that I need to read the complete set of books. I remember reading "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe" when I was a little kid, but I don't think I read any of the others. I found a copy (which includes all the chronicles) at our library. I just wish I had more uninterrupted time to get through more than a handful of pages at a time. So far I am really enjoying "The Magician's Nephew".

Awesome! I love listening to the series on Audiobooks. They may have those at the library too. audiobooks keep me sane while I sew and clean house. ;)
HEY! I'm reading that series right now too! I'm on the third book. "The hourse and his boy" I think is what it's called. I'd have to agree with you that it does have more meaning now that I am older- I really can understand the symbolism now.
I want to know what you think when you're done!
