The other day as I was searching for some music to put on the blog, I came across this version of "You Are My Sunshine". I had to have it because it reminds me of Katelyn. Especially with the children singing it. Katelyn truly is "my sunshine". She keeps me going all the time, even when the skies are gray. I feel incredibly lucky that I get to be her mommy. She is just the sweetest little thing and she makes me smile all the time.
It turns out that Katelyn loves this song too. After she heard it for the first time, she kept asking for it again..."shine, shine". I think it's so sweet that she sings along too. I tried to get some video of her trying to sing along.

Ha ha that is awesome! You girls have some fun together, don't ya? ;) Reminds me of us dancing in your bedroom downstairs at your parents, um, only a SHORT while ago!!!
Seriously...what a sweet little girl you have. It's so true...being a mommy is the best thing ever. I'm so glad you have such fun with her.
