This weekend we went to visit my dad and his wife in Mt. Vernon, WA. It was a very relaxing get-away. We were impressed with this very large stump at one of our rest stops. Katelyn was a little wary of going inside of it. Isn't Justin hot?!
On Saturday we drove to see if any of the tulips were in bloom for the Tulip Festival. No luck. There were tons of daffodils though. Just a sea of yellow. Here is Katelyn and her Grandpa (my dad).
So we decided to drive to the town of La Connor. It is a very cute little tourist town with lots of little shops, galleries and restaurants lining the street-very Western Washington-like.
Aw...so sweet-Katelyn and her "Papa" as she calls him.
