party - the cake and favors

First, I asked my sister in law, Michelle to make up some birthday
invites for Katelyn. She always does a fantastic job and these turned
out so perfect and cute!

Last November at our church women's group we had a service auction.
Each of us brought either a hand made item, or some kind of service to auction
off. We used a points system. So, when my friend Rachelle auctioned off
"one kids cake"...I saved up all my points to wait for it. And I won it!
I planned on using it for Katelyn's 5th birthday cake.

I told Rachelle that we were doing a pony theme and sent her some pictures
of cakes I thought were cute. And she created this amazing cake.
I think I wanted the cake more for me than for Katelyn :)
I LOVED IT!!!!

I looked around online and stole this idea from someone for party favors.
Cookie mix in a jar.
We had cowgirl & cowboy cookies. One for each kid who came :)x
