After dinner the boys shared a nice message about God. They did a great job. They are 12 and 16 years old. They were so quiet! I told Justin you could hear the crickets chirping and was nudging him to talk. Boy did he ever! He talked and talked and talked...(just teasin' hunny). Tiring day of running around and trying to get things ready, but it ended on a great note.

Argentine Dinner
Well, it was supposed to be anyway. This week the youth at church did a "Missionary for a Day" activity. We (ok, I) signed us up to host two of them. Since Justin went to Argentina on his mission, we were going to serve a real authentic Argentine meal. Justin worked all day so I got to do all the cooking. There happens to be a family at church that is from Argentina so I was able to speak with her (Virginia) about some ideas for food. I knew we were going to make Empanadas, but I wanted to stay away from beef. She told me about Humitas, so here you have Empanadas de Humita (pronounced: oo-meet-ah). The Empanada is filled with a white sauce that has onion, cheese and corn in it. It wasn't too bad. I served it with rice and tried to copy a salad that I saw this family bring to a Christmas dinner we were at. Just tomatoes, cucumber and cheese chunks with some seasonings. All in all, it was an alright meal. Probably not my shining moment, but that's ok.

That looks tasty, especially the veggies. Boy, those Peterson boys get talkative when they're excited.
I bought a pattern for a quilt, I might be calling you tomorrow.
Good luck on the race. You rock!
I miss this activity! I remember doing it several times in our YW/YM in my ward. I remember I was sent to Sweden. I don't think we got a dinner though. Your ward must be cooler.
Way to volunteer!
