Lots of Changes

We got to move in to the new house last Friday and we are just loving every minute of being back in a house. The great thing is that this house is entirely usable, not just the main floor. Not only that it doesn't smell like it's 100 years old. I have room for everything and everyone. We are just very happy that we have been blessed to get this house.

My sister in law, Michelle came down last Friday along with my mom and Justin's parents, to help us move in. Michelle and Ethan stayed behind when everyone else left and she has been helping me decorate and get things in order. She is very talented-if you want proof, just look at her blog. She painted the "girls" room for me and it is almost finished. I will post pictures of her work when it is complete.

The great thing about the house is that we didn't have to do anything to it, unlike our house in Newport that was 100 years old (literally). We're just doing some painting in a few rooms to make it our own, but that's mostly it. It's GREAT!

living room

looking toward dining room/kitchen

family room (not quite done yet)

other half of family room=play room!

.30 acre lot-very large back yard

and very low maintenance-perfect!

How exciting for you guys. I bet it feels nice to have your own house again. Are you guys still in Kennewick? I need to take some things down there later this month, so maybe we can get lunch or something? I would be bringing my girls with me, so Katelyn and Brinley coule play and she could get a taste of what a little sister is like with Sarah.

it looks great guys! Good find, I am glad for you to have a place to call home! You need one of those ticker things so I can remember when you are due! Can't wait to see the 'girls' room.

What do you mean, the family room isn't done yet? Gosh you've been in the house six days now and it's not all done....what's the problem here? Think you need to take it easy or something? It's not like you are pregnant or anything!
Can't wait to see it all!
