Some of my sisters and two sister-in-laws came up today and brought the little cousins to help Kate celebrate her 2nd birthday. Justin grilled weenies, cleaned and then went into the bedroom and curled up into the fetal position for the remainder of the party. A little too much noise maybe?
The cake that (even after an obscene amount of greasing/flowering)did not come out of the mold very well.
It was truly more hideous in person
Next year I will hire Arah to make my cake ;)

Katelyn literally squealed an appropriately girly squeal when
she opened this Musical "Tea" Set. I wish so bad that I could
have gotten that squeal on video, it was just so classic.

i love kids birthdays. Your cake turned out fine and Katelyn, I'm sure,thought it was perfect. Glad she had a fun birthday.
that first cake picture make me snicker... i tried to use a cake mold of arahs, and it turned out to be a joke....
Thanks for inviting us up for Katelyn's birthday! Mason had a lot of fun, Cooper had fun being the "party pooper".
I can't believe Katelyn is two! You are one awesome mom for putting on a Tiny Person Party. I've done a few...and they are an adventure! I don't think the cake turned out all that bad. Katelyn probably thought it was the best cake ever...and that's all that matters, right?
