My friend Shalise offered to throw me a baby shower to celebrate the upcoming arrival of Elisabeth.
I wanted it to be small and I didn't want any cake!

Kumiko gave us this itty bitty newborn dress. She wore it on her first day at church.
Someone on facebook posted this idea for a baby shower and we loved it!
It went perfectly with our no cake or sweets rule :)

Liz was due June 17th and Shansa was due July 6th (one day before me).
I beat them both.

That was a really fun baby shower. I ate a lot of tomatoes and snap peas, I remember. Those were the days (when I could eat)! And it shows. I think overall, I'm just a happier person when I can eat. I'm fatter, and much happier. Sigh. Anyway, your shower was really fun and I loved being there.
