I have an anxiety problem. Not the "panic attack" kind of thing, or the "freak out" kind of thing. It's hard to explain, but it plagues me at night, when Justin is working and the kids are in bed (like right now). I feel antsy. Kind of jittery. Like I can't settle down and relax. My heart feels racy. I wander from one thing to the next. I should sleep, but I can't yet. I think I should take up yoga. Seriously. I need to calm the crap down! What is my problem?!

I'm so sorry DeAnne. I know how you feel...kinda. I have an anxiety problem when it comes to clutter. My heart races, I feel antsy, I get all hot, then I feel like I'm going to EXPLODE unless I get the clutter cleaned up. Counseling? Yeah, we could benefit from that, huh?
When Remie is on nights - I SWEAR by melatonin. Just one. It's homeopathic...your body naturally makes melatonin - it's what helps you feel sleepy and rest. I take one that also contains green tea for "stress/anxiety". Seriously, I take one about half hour before I want to go to bed and than drink something warm like Celestial Seasons 'Sleepytime' tea... Having a Hubby away during the nighttime hours can do that to a girl. :) You are not alone! :)))
