She wanted a princess castle cake really, really badly. We watched some videos online and I did my best to replicate one that we saw. I wasn't overly impressed with it, but Katelyn loved it! While she was watching me decorate it she kept saying over and over: "it's gonna be so beautiful". As long as she liked it, I succeeded.
We had a few friends over to play, have cake and open presents.
She was so excited to get a princess nightgown.
and this kitty. She loved all of her gifts and enjoyed having her friends celebrate with her.
It is amazing how much they grow up in just one year. We love our Katelyn~

So sad we missed it, but I'm glad that it was a great party for her. Happy birthday, Katelyn!
So sad we were sick! Blah! That would have been so fun. I hope we get well soon so we can play. Those pictures of Katelyn when she's a baby are so cute.
