Sometimes I listen to a Christian radio station while I am in the car and every now and then when I am at home. I like to see what other churches are talking about. Most of the time there are really good messages being shared. The other day I caught part of a discussion about dinosaurs which I thought was kind of odd. Odd that there would be an entire discourse devoted to the discussion of whether or not there really were dinosaurs and how the Bible proves it. I guess I didn't see the importance of a topic like that. ANYWAY. On the other hand I listened to a message about "gifts". The gifts that we are all individually bestowed by God. The main thing that I took from it was how often times we tend to judge others based on the fact that their gift is not like ours. I think this is so true. It is easy for us to judge others and even find fault because we can see their differences from us, as weaknesses. Instead, when someone is different than us, we should remind ourselves that that is "just the way God made them". Basically, we ought to take it more easy on each other. It's hard to do sometimes.

I wish that I could always look at people with that perspective. It seems like love and charity are mentioned a lot in our church, but maybe that's part of the answer. When I love someone, I can look past their character faults and focus the good qualities they have.
Well said! <3
When I find myself looking at someone and immediately decide judgment and create physical distance from that person, I stop myself and ask, "What is the worth of their soul?" And in a blink of an eye, my heart is softened when I think of the Savior looking at this person. Try it sometime when you are walking through Winco late at night. However, with some of that comes righteous judgment to stay away for safety! :)
