Post Surgery

Well, I made it through the surgery yesterday. All went well as far as the surgery goes, so I am thankful for that. Now is just getting through this first week. I was nauseated almost all day after the surgery was over. I thought I was going to lose it several times before we got back up to Newport. Then I took a pain pill when we got home and I felt horrible. I went to my bed and suddenly this really powerful smell came wafting through the house. Justin is working on making a coat rack for our entry way and had spray painted in the basement. It was so strong, it made me feel even worse. Then! We had a brilliant idea. I took some anti-nausea liquid I had bought for Katelyn a while ago. HA! It was like instant vomit inducing. But I sure felt better. PB&J is much better the first time around. Did you know that in the office I had my surgery done, that they do approximately 70 bunion surgeries in a week??? I had no idea they were so common! So long to Paul, my bunion. May we never meet again.
