Wow! It has been a really nice weekend. There was rain in the forecast, but it was beautiful and SUNNY pretty much the entire time we were in Kennewick. Justin had a really great ride-a-long and said he could picture himself working down here, so that made me feel good. We have prayed a lot about this, and feel good about it, but we know that ultimately is it in the Lord's hands. Still, there is a quote I read once that I really like, it says: "don't ask the Lord to guide your footsteps unless you are willing to move your feet." I think that we are doing what we can to move our feet.
Sunday afternoon we drove all over Kennewick looking at the different neighborhoods and trying to find our way around. It was great! There are some really nice areas there and I actually think it is beautiful. There are plenty of trees and parks and the river. Not only that, but we saw some wildlife in town on Saturday night-two racoons ran across the street in front of us.
Justin would rather I didn't talk about it so much, especially on the blog...just "in case" he doesn't get hired. Gotta BE POSITIVE!!!!! I am hopeful though.
