This morning after I fed Elisabeth, she started making some really odd jerking motions. I've seen her do it a couple of times before, but this time she kept doing it repeatedly for a couple minutes. It's really hard to explain in writing, but I want to make note of it.
I'd be holding her and then she would suddenly make a very slight c-shape curl with her body while at the same time jerking her head once or twice to one side or the other and making a sound in her throat.
It's kinda freaky and really weird and I don't know why she's doing it. She didn't seem to be in any pain because she would smile in between. Like I said, it lasted a couple minutes at most (seemed like a long time)
What the heck?!

Timmy had a head twitch that he would do when he went to the bathroom in his diaper. It was explained to me that the feeling of getting wet triggered his nervous system, which babies are still learning to control. It went away. I would research "baby twitching/jerking" and then follow-up with your pediatrician about it. It is probably normal but I remember when Timmy did that, it completely freaked me out because I was already a nervous mom with Timmy.
