preschool
In case anyone was wondering or cared, (probably not) we decided to enroll Katelyn in preschool after all. I took her down to the preschool today to check it out and do the registration. To see the delight in her face was proof enough that we did the right thing. She is beside herself with excitement and was ready to start today! It is only 2 days a week for 2.5 hours. There is also another little girl who she knows from church that will be in her class and I think that will help her a lot as well. The name of the Preschool is Young Years and it is only a few minutes from our house. It is at a Lutheran church and therefore is a "Christian" preschool. They will have prayer and a devotional at the end of each class, will talk about Bible stories and teach principles such as kindness and the like. Once a month will go up into the chapel for some songs, etc. I am OK with the fact that it is not our church. At this stage of life, I don't see how it will be any problem. We may have to talk about certain things at times, such as the cross, but I'm not worried.

It'll be great! Such concepts are a little too far off for preschoolers anyway. I'd be a little more worried if you were enrolling her into a private Catholic high school or something. :)
Yeah for you guys! and for Katelyn! She will love it. I LOVE having Mason in preschool! I just hope the same lady that I have Mason with, will still be doing it in two years. (Her youngest is Mason's age, so I don't know if she will.)
